| TRIGGERS. None to speak of for the player. MEDICAL INFO. chaos is not human but mostly resembles one especially in Snowblind. He is small but surprisingly strong. MENTAL INFO. chaos is serene, calm and seems to love everyone even if he does not necessarily always like everyone. He is almost suspiciously sane, sometimes seeming like he might loop around towards madness from the other direction. He tends to be a relaxed person and isn't moved to anger or action unless people around him are threatened. FLIRTING. If you really want to. He'll accept the compliment but won't return the flirting. PHYSICAL CONTACT. chaos might shy away from physical contact sometimes since he is used to generating power through his skin. Once he gets more used to being powerless he will be fine with it. ROMANCE/SEXUAL RELATIONS. π = 3.1415926535897932384... INJURE/KILL. chaos is surprisingly strong and a capable fighter with his fists and palms alone. If your character goes after him he will fight back if he feels he needs to. That said, if injury and/or death makes sense for a plot I'll probably be fine with it. DEVICE HACKING. Ask first. I'll probably be okay with it. If the thread is marked "hackable" already then go for it. THREADJACKING. Threadjack at will FOURTH WALL. For Xenosaga probably no on this but ask me if you'd really like to do it. ANYTHING ELSE. I haven't played chaos in over ten years so if anything feels off don't hesitate to let me know. |

CAN CHAOS "READ" YOUR CHARACTER?: Yes.
IF "YES" WHAT CAN HE SEE?: This will vary based on the thread. I try to include narration of John's thoughts and ticks that might give him away. Generally, he'll see someone who is hyper-vigilant and guarded. John is almost always looking around when he first enters a room, checking for exits and cover. He has a military posture, more often than not, as well, standing in something close to an at-ease stance. He also tends to size people up when he first meets them, looking for any obvious weak points.

CAN CHAOS "READ" YOUR CHARACTER?: Yes, to a point.
IF "YES" WHAT CAN HE SEE?: Again, this will vary based on the thread. House is a bit better at hiding his actual emotions behind a veneer of sarcasm and irritation. choas might note that House often looks very sad when he's left alone and isn't actively paying attention to acting for the benefit of other people, though.
IF "NO" WHY NOT?: If chaos doesn't pick something up, it's likely because House is actively cloaking his emotions behind something else. Fear is often shaded by irritation and anger. If he's genuinely amused, he might hide that by acting sarcastic and mildly annoyed.

CAN CHAOS "READ" YOUR CHARACTER? To an extent*
IF "YES" WHAT CAN HE SEE?: Ecks expects violence as a part of everyday life; while she doesn't particularly enjoy fighting and will not willingly subject herself to pain without good reason, she has a very pragmatic attitude when it comes to violence and death. She finds the world and the people in it complicated and sometimes overwhelming, but is usually game to try to figure out whatever she doesn't understand (or ask questions until someone explains it to her). She occasionally shuts down when things get to be too much; this will be obvious when it happens because it usually involves physically isolating herself and refusing to speak except to reject whatever is happening.
IF "NO" WHY NOT?: *Ecks does not intuitively modulate her tone or change her facial expression, so she doesn't give off a lot of the unconscious signals by which people usually express their emotions. She defaults to monotone and a resting blank look when she's not deliberately making a face to express her feelings, though she has been learning to smile more naturally (I'll note in tags when she does so) and people who know her well have been able to learn her other tells, such as changes in speech patterns or body language.
FURTHER NOTES: Ecks has a very poor understanding of the concepts of bodily autonomy and consent, which may become clear from certain things she says.

CAN CHAOS "READ" YOUR CHARACTER? Yes, easily.
IF "YES" WHAT CAN HE SEE?: Stephen is mentally and physically exhausted nearly all the time now due to suffering from frequent nightmares and occasional waking flashbacks to traumatic events. He's simultaneously self-important and self-sacrificing, and it pains him greatly that he often feels useless in Norfinbury due to a lack of magic and the lack of ability to provide significant medical services due to the nerve damage in his hands.

FURTHER NOTES: A little before the time of chaos's arrival, Stephen began taking anti-seizure medication to treat his nerve pain, which has somewhat improved his irritability but has left him in a mild mental fog instead.

IF "YES" WHAT CAN HE SEE?: Steph is really very depressed right now. Sometimes she can cover it with humor, sometimes she just feels kinda empty. Under it all she's still a clever girl and can think quickly and properly when she really tries to. Sometimes he may be able to see that she cares a lot about people, likes to pretend she doesn't, and feels a lot of guilt about various things.

CAN CHAOS "READ" YOUR CHARACTER? He has permission, but the Cat's body language is about equal parts human and cat.
IF "YES" WHAT CAN HE SEE?: The Cat is hiding a great deal of excess energy and concern over his lacking sense of smell.

CAN CHAOS "READ" YOUR CHARACTER? Sure!
IF "YES" WHAT CAN HE SEE?: Enoch is tired. Especially now, there's a weariness to everything he does. When he's outdoors he keeps his lower face covered against the cold, but it's always safe to assume he has "old eyes", even if I don't mention it in narration. In fact, it's probably safer to assume so unless I've said otherwise. chaos might see something familiar in him, in as much as they're both older than they seem and he'll know what that looks like. Also, any time I mention specific tension in response to a thing not meant to cause tension/that doesn't have any narrative explanation, chaos is free to read it specifically as a trauma response if he would recognize it as such.

FURTHER NOTES: If you're ever not sure about a nonverbal tell or lack thereof, poke me! I'll be glad to adjust narration to suit chaos's perceptions!

Surface level- That he's optimistic and thinks he can punch is way through things. He's friendly and seems generally happy.
Deeper- Zell is actually falling apart. He's not sure what's real at times and it's hard being unable to save the day.

IF "YES" WHAT CAN HE SEE?: Al is very open with his emotions in his voice, but he's literally a suit of armour so there's no expressions to read and tell what he's thinking or feeling.

CAN CHAOS "READ" YOUR CHARACTER? No
IF "YES" WHAT CAN HE SEE?:
IF "NO" WHY NOT?: Bucky is pretty highly trained at hiding his emotions, and a blank face/level voice are his default. Especially with someone he doesn't know, he'll just be very guarded and hard to read. This might change if they get more CR down the road. Though obviously chaos can pick up on the fact that Bucky is guarded and paranoid.

CAN CHAOS "READ" YOUR CHARACTER? Yes
IF "YES" WHAT CAN HE SEE?: Much like House, Sherlock is good at hiding his more negative emotions (sort of), in that fear or sorrow are expressed as anger or defensiveness. He's an expert liar/actor, so he can change it up if he wants. But I'll try and put any stuff he can notice in the narration.
